Panel Responsibilities

Guardians of a Historic Election

The Electoral Screening and Appeals Panel carries the responsibility of ensuring that Africa's first digital presidential primary is conducted with absolute fairness, legal integrity, and unwavering adherence to the Electoral Act 2022.

Screening Lane

Review and adjudicate aspirant eligibility. Scrutinise party membership, dues payment, and compliance with nomination requirements. Issue written clearance or rejection with documented findings.

Appeals Lane

Hear petitions from aspirants contesting screening outcomes. Conduct structured hearings, consider evidence, and issue binding written rulings strictly within the 48-hour INEC-mandated deadline.

Consensus Module

Record, verify, and formalise consent and resolution declarations for ward, LGA, and state congress levels. Submit final declarations to the National Working Committee within 48 hours.
